Rita Huni Kuin
Rita Huni Kuin is part of the Huni Kuin tribe in the Brazilian Amazon, born and raised in the village of Chico Curumim on the Jordão River in Acre. The rainforest is her home and her teacher. She combines a deep understanding of the plants and traditions of her people with a modern, creative expressiveness.
As an artist and activist, Rita is committed to making the culture of the Huni Kuin visible and building bridges between different worlds. Her knowledge of plants, rituals, and songs is deeply rooted in tradition and is carried forward in her own, vibrant way.
Together with her family and the community of her tribe, she produces this Rapé based on traditional knowledge – just as it has been passed down for generations. We are in direct contact with her and source this Rapé without intermediaries – fair and in personal connection.
When you hold this Rapé from YOMERA in your hands, you hold a product that Rita and her community have created with tradition, creativity, and genuine connection to the Amazon. From the heart of the rainforest, directly to you.
