Bunke Inani Huni Kuin
Bunke Inani Huni Kuin is part of the Huni Kuin tribe in the Brazilian Amazon, born and raised in the village of Boa Vista on the Jordão River in Acre. The rainforest is her home and her teacher. She knows the plants, their significance, and the traditional rituals of her people in detail.
Together with her family and the community of her tribe, she produces this Rapé based on traditional knowledge – just as it has been passed down for generations. Her knowledge of plants, prayers, and rituals is deeply rooted in the tradition of the Huni Kuin and is actively lived and shared by her.
Bunke is a central figure within her community and advocates for the role of women in her tribe as the president of the first indigenous women's association in Jordão. We are in direct contact with her and source this Rapé without intermediaries – fairly and in personal connection.
When you hold this Rapé from YOMERA in your hands, you hold a product that Bunke and her community have created with ancient knowledge, respect, and true tradition. From the heart of the Amazon, directly to you.
